We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Internal Sales & Customer Relations Co-Ordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and can manage multiple priorities efficiently.

🔑 Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to promote our range of tooling products, achieve sales targets, and support company growth objectives. The successful candidate will engage with customers professionally, respond promptly to requests, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.

🔧 Key Duties:

📦 Customer & Supplier Coordination:

• Prepare quotations based on customer requests (email & telephonic)

• Liaise with suppliers for pricing and availability

• Process purchase orders on supplier platforms

• Capture supplier invoices in Sage Pastel

• Follow up on deliveries and collections

• Assist walk-in customers at the onsite tool shop

• Conduct monthly face-to-face visits with key account customers to:

  • Understand needs and upcoming projects
  • Follow up on quotes and lost opportunities
  • Promote specials and tailored solutions
  • Maintain accurate customer data in systems and mailing lists
  • Discuss potential credit limit increases

🗂️ Administrative Duties:

• Upload customer PODs daily to cloud server

• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accurate invoice capturing in Sage Pastel

• Submit supplier invoices to finance monthly

• Upload PODs to customer portals for payment processing

• Provide daily payment allocations to finance

• Confirm EFT payments before releasing orders

🚚 Warehousing & Logistics:

• Coordinate urgent orders and ensure priority handling

• Work closely with warehouse/logistics for timely order fulfilment

• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages proactively

• Assist with quarterly and annual stock counts

✅ Essential Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience in internal sales and customer liaison (tools/hardware experience advantageous)

• Strong sales drive with ability to work independently and within a small team

• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills

• Strong problem-solving ability and customer service orientation

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult customers professionally

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Confident telephonic communication

💻 Technical Skills:

• Sage Pastel 50 (non-negotiable)

• Microsoft Word (Basic)

• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)

• Microsoft Outlook (Intermediate)

🚗 Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Willingness to travel to key account customers (company vehicle provided)
