A leading supplier of food ingredients is seeking a proactive Internal Sales Consultant to join their team – Cape Town
Overview:
This role focuses on managing customer accounts, processing orders, and driving sales within the FMCG/food ingredients sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries, orders, and quotations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Upsell and cross-sell products
- Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams
- Support external sales and manage admin tasks
- Meet sales targets and KPIs
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2–5 years’ internal sales experience (FMCG / food / ingredients preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literate (MS Office & ERP)
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
