Internal Sales Consultant
Assagay, Kwa Zulu-Natal
We are looking for a proactive, numerate, and customer-focused Internal Sales Consultant to join our team.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident engaging with both B2B dealers and B2C customers, and has a strong drive to convert enquiries into sales.
The Role
You will play a key part in the full sales cycle, from quote preparation through to order finalisation, invoicing, logistics coordination, and customer communication.
This is a hands‑on role requiring strong admin capability, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotes and follow up to convert enquiries into orders
- Conduct telephonic sales and cold calling to grow the customer base
- Capture and process orders on systems (pricing and stock validation)
- Coordinate logistics and communicate ETAs with customers and suppliers
- Assist with web enquiries and basic technical queries
- Build product knowledge across tyres, wheels, and related applications
- Support occasional marketing events and activations
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- Strong numeracy and Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience in internal sales / sales admin / contact centre
- Proven cold calling and sales conversion experience
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans advantageous)
- Reliable transport to Assagay
