COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is one of South Africa’s largest paper and packaging companies and they are looking for an Internal Sales Consultant to join their team in Elsies River, Cape Town as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaise with respective customers to establish their paper requirements
Ensure that all orders are dispatched to the customer as and when required/ requested
Send through EFT payments to accounts department at Head Office
Locate copy and send all copy documents requested by the customers
Achieve revenue and profit targets through outbound telesales and required amount of service calls
Proactively seek out new opportunities whilst maintaining relationships with established clients to build and maintain a portfolio of preferred partners
Action required Service Calls daily to inform customers of product developments and merchandise on promotion
Filing quotes, correspondence and invoices
Provide technical expertise to customer
Liaise with The Paper shop to inform them of any proof of payments by their customers that may have been sent through to main office in error
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
Customer Service related qualification will be beneficial
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
At least 2 years experience in an Internal Sales related position
Telesales experience
Paper Mill or Merchant experience will be beneficial
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
Excellent Customer Service skills
