Position: Internal Banker (Entrepreneurs)
Description of the role Core responsibilities
• Strong deal implementation across varied structures and business owners in different industries
• Commercial understanding of legal terms and its application to home loans, building bonds, commercial property and secured loans
• Understanding of group structures of businesses and its impact on onboarding clients
• Onboarding of clients digitally, with manual exceptions
• Cultivate and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure the achievement of operational goals and business objectives
• Manage risk within client portfolio, by demonstrating awareness of and take appropriate actions on residuals, early-pay aways and arrears
• Drive
innovation
by identifying and implementing efficient, accurate processes and solutions to maximise team capacity in front of client
• Ability to understand the product set, in particular:
Private Business Transactional Banking, Foreign Exchange and Business and Private Card capabilities and related support to clients
• Proactively connect with clients for embedded entrenchment opportunities in ordinary course of business
• Facilitating and coordinating multiple entrenchment opportunities per client at any point in time
• Meeting and exceeding specified entrenchment targets per ancillary product EGAs, YAs, Life, MI, cash investment products etc.
• Develop and maintain Client Action Plans for more complex clients in partnership with External Banker
• Keeping abreast of Banking changes and impact on client
Experience, skill and capability
• Resilient, self-starter, efficient, disciplined, client service orientated, structured and focused individual
• Financial related degree/qualification. Bcom Accounting, Law or Business advantageous
• Good business/financial acumen

Financial analysis

• Understanding of private banking, high level understanding of working capital products, trade finance, long-term lending and FX solutions advantageous
