Intermediate Front End React Developer – REMOTE – R700k PA Jobs in South Africa at E-Merge
We”re seeking an exceptionally independent Front-end Developer with Type Script and React experience to join our small team as the primary front-end specialist. This role requires someone who can work autonomously, make sound technical decisions independently, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
You will independently lead front-end development efforts, making autonomous technical decisions and establishing best practices.
Required skills and Experience :
5 plus years of professional front-end development experience with substantial applications
Expert knowledge of Type Script and React ecosystems
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern front-end build tools
Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
Solid experience with Git and Git Hub for version control
Proven ability to optimise performance in data-heavy applications
Demonstrated history of independent problem-solving and technical leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile :
Highly self-motivated with exceptional problem-solving abilities

Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration
Proactive in technical research and implementation of improvements
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move projects forward with minimal guidance
This is a permanent Fully Remote position with a business based in Port Elizabeth offering a cost to company salary of between R680k to R760k per annum.
