About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interconnection Specialist to join our team and drive grid-tie approvals across active project pipelines. In this role, you will manage utility submittals, navigate regulatory requirements, and serve as the primary liaison between our project management team and utility representatives.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Required Expertise: Proven experience with NYSERDA, commercial, and community solar interconnection processes.
- Strong understanding of utility portal workflows, single-line diagrams, and grid capacity queue management.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating directly with utility account managers and internal engineering teams.
- Ability to track, prioritize, and expedite Permission to Operate (PTO) across high-volume pipelines.
Work Location
The priority is for reporting to work in one of our offices; however, working via remote is a possibility and would be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
