An excellent opportunity for a Junior Developer to step into an Integration Engineer role, working on large-scale, complex trading system integrations for a global investment management company. You’ll work across systems that directly connect to the world’s top custodians, brokers, and market data platforms.
This Integration Developer position is 100% remote offering R800K per annum.

A Global Independent INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT Company headquartered in London, with offices in South Africa. They provide a range of investment services to private clients, financial intermediaries, and institutions globally; and engineer Financial Trading Applications for the market – the tech team you will join are experts in designing and developing global Fin Tech products.
THE ROLE
As a Integration Developer, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale, complex trading system integrations that connect this global investment management firm to the world’s leading custodians, brokers, data providers, and market platforms. These integrations form the backbone of the firm’s ability to execute trades, manage portfolios, and report accurately to clients.
You’ll be responsible for building and supporting integration solutions that operate across batch, semi real-time, and real-time processes, using C#, SQL Server, ETL pipelines, and messaging protocols such as SOAP, HTTP, and FIX. You’ll work closely with senior developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, learn domain-specific financial models, and ensure seamless flow of information between internal systems and external platforms.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
3 years’ experience in software development with a focus on system integration
Proficient in C# and strong SQL skills (experience with SQL Server)
Familiarity with ETL, messaging patterns, and integration protocols (SOAP, HTTP, FIX)
Experience with Git version control, Containers & CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to F#, Scala, or any functional programming language
Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
Experience with integration platforms like Biz Talk, SSIS, or similar
Knowledge of message queuing systems (Rabbit
MQ, MQSeries, MSMQ)
