INSTALLATION ELECTRICIAN — MUNICIPAL ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE Jobs in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape at CMB Contractors and Services
CMB Contractors and Services is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Installation Electrician to join our electrical team for municipal electrical infrastructure work.
Minimum requirements
- Registered Installation Electrician
- Recognised electrical qualification/trade certificate
- Current registration documentation
- Proven practical electrical installation experience
- Experience with LV electrical installations
- Experience with cable jointing and terminations
- Strong preference for candidates with LV PILC/SWA experience
- Strong preference for candidates with 6.6 kV–22 kV MV cable experience
- Experience with XLPE cable jointing and/or termination will be highly advantageous
- Ability to work safely and according to electrical standards and site procedures
- Valid driver’s licence advantageous
Highly advantageous experience
Candidates with previous experience on:
- Municipal electrical distribution networks
- 6.6 kV, 11 kV or 22 kV systems
- Single-core XLPE cables
- Three-core XLPE cables
- PILC cables
- Cable jointing and termination
- MV testing and fault-related work
will receive strong preference.

Location: Gqeberha / Eastern Cape
Employment: Long-term position, subject to operational requirements and contract award.
