Overview
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to support and strengthen our client's information security governance and compliance capability. This role focuses on developing and maintaining security governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk assessments and working closely with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain information security governance frameworks, policies and standards.
- Ensure alignment between security controls, business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support security audits, compliance assessments and governance reviews.
- Translate technical security risks into business-focused recommendations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years' Cyber Security experience.
- Strong Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining security policies and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of security standards and regulatory compliance.
Nice to Have
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise security governance programmes.
Qualifications & Certifications
- 4-year IT-related degree.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
