Infant Teacher

Join Our Team!
We are seeking a warm, nurturing, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team! Our Infant Teachers play an important role in providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment for our youngest learners.
The ideal candidate has a genuine love for working with infants, understands the importance of responsive care, and is committed to supporting each child’s early development.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for infants.
- Follow proper diaper-changing and sanitation procedures.
- Safely prepare, handle, and feed bottles according to each child’s individual feeding plan.
- Follow safe sleep practices and maintain close supervision of all children.
- Engage infants in age-appropriate learning experiences, sensory activities, music, movement, and play.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Communicate with parents regarding their child’s daily activities, feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable state licensing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and center leadership.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is preferred. CDA a plus
- A nurturing, patient, dependable, and positive personality.
- Knowledge of proper diapering, bottle feeding, sanitation, and infant supervision practices.
- Ability to communicate professionally with families and team members.
- Must be reliable and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Early childhood education credentials or coursework are a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Pay: $17.45 – $19.45 per hour
