Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer specializing in the plastics manufacturing industry to join a dynamic team. In this critical role, you will focus on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet the ever-evolving demands of the plastics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes in the plastics industry.
Analyze workflows, production schedules, and resource allocation to identify areas for efficiency gains.
Implement Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality.
Design and develop process improvement plans that align with business goals.
Oversee the training and development of engineering staff on best practices and process standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of process improvements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate efficiency and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Research and assess new technologies and processes to stay ahead in the market.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering within the plastics manufacturing industry.
Proven experience with process improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional leadership and project management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office Suite.
