Independent Delivery Driver — Wilmington, NC
TRX Transport LLC is hiring independent delivery drivers for new UniUni last-mile delivery routes throughout Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Ogden, Castle Hayne, Porters Neck, and surrounding areas.

Drivers will generally be assigned to one of several Wilmington-area territories:

What Can I Expect to Earn?
Drivers earn 90% of the delivery revenue they personally generate.
At the current projected rate, drivers earn approximately:
$1.70 per completed stop(exact calculation: $1.701 per stop)
Current projected volume averages approximately:
7,200 stops per week~1,029 stops per day across all Wilmington routes~86 stops per driver per day with 12 drivers
At the current initial volume:
86 completed stops × $1.701 = approximately $146 per day
This is an average based on the initial volume projections. Actual route size and daily earnings will vary.
Volume Is Expected to Increase
These are growing delivery routes, and stop volume is expected to increase as the operation develops.
The delivery territories themselves are already established by ZIP code. As volume increases, the expectation is that routes become denser — more stops within the same general delivery area rather than driving distance increasing proportionally.
For drivers, that is important because greater stop density can mean more earning potential without a similar increase in miles driven.
For example, at the current rate:
100 stops = about $170120 stops = about $204140 stops = about $238160 stops = about $272
Drivers who are organized and efficient will have the opportunity to take on additional volume as the routes grow.
A Typical Day
Drivers report to the designated UniUni warehouse and:
- Check in and receive their assigned route
- Scan all assigned items
- Number them for quick identification
- Sort and organize everything before loading
- Load their own vehicle
- Complete stops throughout their assigned Wilmington-area territory
- Follow customer delivery instructions
- Take clear proof-of-delivery photos
- Complete all required delivery attempts
- Properly process anything that cannot be delivered
Scanning, numbering, sorting, and loading are part of the job.
A major part of being successful in this position is getting organized before leaving the warehouse. Drivers who load their vehicle correctly generally spend much less time searching for items during the route.
Consistent Delivery Territories
Our goal is to keep drivers assigned to a consistent territory whenever operationally possible.
Available areas include:
- Wilmington / Downtown
- Midtown and South Wilmington
- Ogden / Castle Hayne
- Porters Neck
- Wrightsville Beach area
- Carolina Beach
- Kure Beach
You may be asked to assist another territory when necessary to ensure all deliveries are completed.
What You Need
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance
- Smartphone with reliable data service
- Ability to lift and carry items throughout the day
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow delivery-app instructions
- Ability to take proper proof-of-delivery photos
SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and vehicles with good cargo capacity are encouraged.
Previous Amazon Flex, FedEx, UPS, Spark, DoorDash, courier, or other last-mile delivery experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
Drivers earn 90% of the delivery revenue they personally generate — approximately $1.70 per completed stop at the current projected rate.
Initial route volume projects to approximately $145–$150 per day for an average driver, with the opportunity for earnings to increase as daily stop density and volume grow.
