Requirements:
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse Degree or Diploma essential.
2 – 5 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.
Basic life support trained.
An intermediate level of Computer proficiency in a private hospital setting.
Developing and improving a nursing care plan.
Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols.
Patient assessment skills.
Risk identification.
Qualification in Midwifery is advantageous.
