IBM invites interested individuals who wish to gain relevant skills and knowledge in the Information Technology industry to apply for a 24-month learnership programme within the company.
Learners will be introduced to IT concepts, database management, web development, system administration, and project management. They will also be offered on-the-job experience in an IT environment to give them exposure to different IT projects and challenges.
Upon successful completion of the programme, they will be awarded a qualification which will open various job aspects within the IT industry.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12/ matric certificate with a pass in Mathematics
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of the Microsoft database system
Willing to commit to the full duration of the learnership programme
Apply problem-solving techniques to solve user technical problems
Team player and result-driven
Analytical and able to multi-task
Confident and able to work independently
Duties
and Responsibilities
Installing and configuring computer systems
Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues
Develop technology solutions for clients and execute Microsoft systems
Support systems software and hardware products
Execute software package implementation and project upgrades
Develop technical standards and specifications
Set up collaborations and liaise with study centers and organizations
