To succeed in this role, you should have Grade 12 and 5-8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. A valid SAQCC Category A certification is advantageous. You should have solid fault-finding ability, a good understanding of HVAC principles, and the ability to perform electrical testing on single and three-phase systems. You must be physically fit, able to work at heights and in confined spaces, and committed to safety and compliance standards.
