Location: Gqeberha

  • Government Liaison: Serve as key contact with local government departments; maintain relationships and communicate company plans.
  • Permit Management: Handle all permits and licenses for company registration and modified plastics production.
  • Compliance Support: Prepare documents for audits; coordinate with third-party agencies as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Admin Setup: Assist in establishing initial administrative and filing systems.
  • Recruitment: Manage full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Employee Relations: Organize training; manage attendance, discipline, and labor relations; ensure compliance with local labor laws.
  • Visa Management: Handle expatriate visa applications, renewals, and tracking; maintain visa database.
  • Payroll: Compile attendance records, calculate salaries per local regulations (PAYE, UIF, SDL), and prepare payroll sheets.
  • Daily Admin: Oversee office supplies, environment, and government inspections; implement HR policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
  • 3+ years local HR/Admin experience in manufacturing industry in South Africa.
  • Familiar with South African labor laws, immigration policies, and government processes.
  • Proficient in English and local language.
  • Have legal working rights in South Africa.
  • Strong integrity, communication skills, detail-oriented.
