Location: Waterfront, Cape Town

Work Arrangement: On-site

Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 CTC per month

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and personable HR Coordinator to join a professional and fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong HR administration skills with excellent attention to detail, sound organisational ability and the confidence to engage professionally with senior stakeholders and Directors.

The successful candidate will be someone who takes ownership, works well independently and as part of a team, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

HR Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports and HR-related documentation.
  • Assist with internal employee communications and HR correspondence.
  • Prepare general HR correspondence, including employment-related letters.
  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.

General HR Support

  • Provide administrative support across the HR function as required.
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and staff social events.
  • Assist with staff gifting and employee engagement activities.
  • Attend to meeting administration and minutes where required.

Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Provide end-to-end recruitment administration support for experienced hires.
  • Assist with screening applications and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding administration.
  • Ensure relevant documentation and records are completed and maintained accurately.

Graduate Recruitment & Training Support

  • Assist with the administration and coordination of graduate recruitment and induction programmes.
  • Support recruitment processes, including application screening and interview coordination.
  • Assist with the coordination of career events, recruitment initiatives and related logistics.
  • Maintain training records and assist with training schedules, attendance registers and reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support for training and development initiatives

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • A relevant HR qualification or tertiary degree will be advantageous.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an HR administration or related administrative role.
  • Experience within a professional services environment will be advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with an HRIS or employee management system will be advantageous.
  • Valid Drivers license & Own car (Advantageous)
