We’re growing our HR team to support the company's growth across Southern Africa. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Human Resources Business Partner who will report to the HR director and work closely with business leaders. The Role
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Knight Piésold, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our people experience and driving our business forward. This isn’t a back-office HR role – you’ll work directly with the HR Director & Senior HRBP on workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and performance management. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, championing employee development and retention, and contributing to a positive, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR Director to align HR strategies with operational goals.
- Guide managers on HR policies, employee relations, and labour legislation.
- Manage recruitment of administrative and technical positions.
- Coordinate and assist with psychometric assessments as part of recruitment and employee development processes.
- Guide managers through performance management processes and development planning.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
- Identify learning and development needs and support employee growth initiatives.
- Contribute to employee engagement and retention programmes.
- Support organisational initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and relevant labour legislation.
Minimum requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Development, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
- Professional registration with the HPCSA or SABPP is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, including experience in a business partnering role.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Experience supporting professional or technical teams will be advantageous.
