Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records
Support new employee onboarding, including preparing documents and coordinating orientation
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and confidential
Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration
Help manage HR documentation such as contracts, disciplinary records, and performance reviews
Coordinate training and development programs for staff
Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events
Handle general administrative HR tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
Assist with health and safety compliance and record-keeping
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 (a relevant HR qualification is a plus)
12 years experience in an administrative or HR support role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HR software is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field
