Overview
An established and growing technology group is seeking a detail-oriented HR Officer to support the day-to-day administration and delivery of HR operations across multiple business units. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional with a strong administrative background, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating efficient, compliant HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR documentation and employee records.
- Ensure HR files, systems and documentation are accurate, up to date and compliant.
- Assist with recruitment administration, interview coordination and candidate communication.
- Support payroll by maintaining accurate employee information and processing HR-related changes.
- Monitor leave records, probation periods and other HR processes.
- Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and processes.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training administration and general HR projects.
- Respond to employee HR-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and company policies.
Requirements Qulaifications
- BCom Degree in Human Resources or equivalent (essential).
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in an HR Officer or HR Administrator role.
Skills
- Strong HR administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and process orientation.
- Good understanding of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using an HRIS will be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
