Position: HR Officer (Generalist) – fixed term
Our client based in Midrand is looking a HR OFFICER (GENERALIST) on a fixed term basis. The HR Officer will provide operational HR support and ensure the effective administration of human resource systems, employee records, recruitment processes, and HR compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and audit employee personnel files
- Ensure HR documentation compliance and integrity
- Manage leave administration and benefits records
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
- Support disciplinary and employee relations processes
- Maintain HR reporting data and dashboards
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years’ HR generalist experience
- Sound understanding of South African labour legislation
- Experience in recruitment, HR administration, and employee relations
- Strong attention to detail and compliance orientation
- Experience with in a regulatory environment will be advantageous
