Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm providing innovative multidisciplinary engineering solutions across the commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, education, and residential sectors. They are looking for a driven HR Generalist to join their team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, retention, and offboarding.
- Ensure HR compliance with South African labour legislation, Employment Equity (EE), Skills Development, and B-BBEE requirements.
- Assist with annual HR reporting, audits, and accurate employee record management.
- Support the HR Director with HR projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Relevant Human Resources qualification.
- 7–10 years’ experience as an HR Generalist managing the full HR function.
- Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation, Employment Equity (EE), Skills Development, and B-BBEE.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Pay Space payroll software is advantageous.
