HR Business Partner – Industrial Relations and Skills Development

HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Specialising in Industrial Relations & Skills Development

Salary: R500,000 – R620,000 per annum

Are you an HR professional with strong Industrial Relations (IR) expertise and a passion for driving skills development? We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) who can lead skills development initiatives, ensure statutory compliance, and manage critical IR functions within the organisation.

Location: Sandton

Key Responsibilities

Transformation Management

Lead development and implementation of the Employment Equity (EE) agenda.

Oversee the corporate social investment agenda and manage EE reporting.

Implement, collect data, and report on the B-BBEE scorecard for HR Development.

Talent Management

Manage the EducationTraining & Development (ETD) budget.

Register as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) with Services SETA.

Prepare and implement a comprehensive Work Skills Plan.

Coordinate training activities and implement Skills Development Programmes.

Oversee the ERIS Graduate Skills Programme.

Payroll

Supervise payroll and approve salary disbursements.

Recruitment & Selection

Manage vacancy advertising, CV shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding processes.

Graduate/Internship Programme

Oversee the recruitment, selection, and implementation of the ERIS Graduate, Internships, and Vocational Programme.

Employment Relations Matters

Provide advice to heads of departments and manage disciplinary matters.

Handle CCMA cases, including Con/Arb cases and prepare case packs.

Human Resources Information Systems

Ensure accurate HR data storage and optimise Thomas International – Personal Profile Analysis Portal.

Assist with audit verification for BEE compliance and update the BBBEE scorecard.

Employment Equity & Compliance

Ensure Employment Equity requirements are met, including report submissions and meeting arrangements.

Administer wellness programs and ensure compliance with statutory bodies like the Estate Agency Affairs Board and Services SETA.

Manage Workmen’s Compensation Fund (COIDA) claims.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

Matric (Essential)

Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma

SDF qualification or Facilitator’s qualification

Accredited Assessor (Advantageous)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience:

4-5 years’ experience in a similar HRBP role with proven experience in Industrial Relations and Skills Development
