Hello…an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our HINT, People area. We are looking to recruit a HR Assistant.

The successful incumbent will support the HINT (Hollard International) HRBPs with processes spanning across the entire HR value chain for a 24-month period.

The successful incumbent will report directly into the Senior HRBP and will provide support to the Head of People & Marketing, HRBP and by extension the Hollard International business subsidiaries in the rest of Africa.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative support to the team.

Involvement in the HINT People team’s HR analytics function by collating, sorting and cleaning data which aids in data integrity for reporting purposes as well as for input into various Hollard HR systems.

Organizing and maintaining personnel records, organograms and adhock HR documents.

Updating internal databases such as leave, records, employee files etc.

First line support and redirection of HR related employee queries.

Participating in, coordinating and providing administrative support for planned annual HR projects and initiatives.

Advertising new roles and providing support to the team throughout the entire recruitment and onboarding value chain.

Supporting the team with invoice processing, payments and procurement related duties.

Provide support in conducting business-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps.

Contributing to the implementation of the Learning and Development strategy and ensure effective and efficient implementation.

Management of Product, systems, compliance and general training for new recruits and existing employees

Study Assistance: Oversee the bursary administration process (incl. payments, results monitoring and work back periods)

Learnerships: Overseeing the learning programme for learners through to graduation and placement stage, including the selection and management of service providers and effective management of the relationships with SETAs.

Leadership Development: HRBP support on all programmes and initiatives relating to management and leadership development including internal and external development.

Contribute to ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including WSP/ATR compliance and accurate submission.

Build Learning Capability: develop the learning maturity and capability of the Hollard business through any additional opportunities available to you.

Digital Content creation and Development for HINT SA (compliance courses in collaboration with Digital Hub (Hollard Center). Content creation for Countries as and when requested, utilizing Learnovate as the LMS.

Creating monthly reports outlining training initiatives, Remco and board report contribution, IFRS 17.

Training budget management in collaboration with HRBPs.

Assist with adhock related duties such as supplier management, invoicing management, Udemy license administration etc
