Overview
We’re looking for a part-time HR professional to take ownership of our core people operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure and supporting growing teams, while working flexibly alongside leadership.
Key Responsibilities
HR & People Operations (Core Focus)
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Draft and maintain employee contracts and documentation
- Track leave, attendance, and payroll inputs
- Support performance reviews and salary tracking
- Managing employee Performance Improvement Plans
- Managing employee retrenchments, terminations and resignations
- Representing the business at the CCMA if needed
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate HR records and policies
- Support client service agreements and HR-related documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant labour regulations
Stakeholder Support
- Act as the go-to HR partner for internal team and leadership
- Provide guidance on employee relations and HR best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years experience in HR / People Operations
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and compliance
- Comfortable working independently in a fractional capacity
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in startups or scaling environments is a bonus
Scope & Structure
- Part-time: 3 – 4 hours per day
- Flexible working arrangement
- Works closely with leadership on strategic people initiatives

- Exposure to payroll coordination and basic finance processes
- Experience supporting remote or international teams
