As a Hotel Massage Therapist at South Beach, you will have a multifaceted role, combining massage therapy with responsibilities at the hotel’s front desk reception. Your dedication to enhancing the overall guest experience and providing exceptional massage services, combined with your support at the reception, will be essential in upholding their reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of massage treatments to guests, ensuring their relaxation and well-being.
– Tailor treatments to individual guest needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
– Maintain a clean and serene environment, including treatment room, equipment, and communal areas.
– Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols, including cleaning, sanitization, and sterilization of equipment.
– Assist in promoting spa services and packages to guests, explaining the benefits of various treatments.
– Keep accurate records of guest treatments and maintain confidentiality.
– Assist at the hotel’s front desk, including tasks like check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and handling guest inquiries.
– Uphold the highest standards of guest service and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
– A valid certification or diploma in massage therapy from a recognised institution.
– State or local licensing and certification as required.
– A minimum of 2 years of experience as a massage therapist in a high-end spa or luxury hotel setting.
– Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy.
– Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanour.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
