Capensis Wines, situated in Stellenbosch, has the above mentioned position available for an energetic,
innovative
and highly motivated individual. The successful candidate will report directly to the Brand Manager and be responsible for (but not limited to):
Overseeing all aspects of the tasting room operations and manage day-to-day operations of the tasting room:
Staff scheduling, inventory management, maintaining cleanliness and organization, purchasing of supplies and staff training.
Oversee reservations and special requests.
Promoting sales of our wines.
Curating, managing, and overseeing events on premise.
Recruiting more bookings.
Assist Brand Manager with administrative tasks related to marketing and sales: update of tasting notes, website audits, stock management systems and facilitate local orders.
Database implementation and growth.
All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
In depth knowledge of wines.
Strong computer proficiency and data entry experience (Mailchimp and Shopify experience will be advantageous).
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele.
Valid driver’s license.
Own transport/Reliable transport.
Commencement date:
As soon as possible.
