Full Job Description

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or helpdesk system in a professional and timely manner.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to:

Internet connectivity ( Fibre, Wireless, LTE, etc.)

Modem and router configuration

IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and NAT

Email setup and issues

VoIP phone services

Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2 or network engineers.

Guide customers through step-by-step troubleshooting processes.

Log and document all support calls, issues, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.

Monitor network status tools and alert relevant teams of outages or network issues.

Assist customers with account access, billing inquiries, and service activations if required.

Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved.

Requirements:Education & Experience:

Matric or equivalent (minimum)

IT Certificate or Diploma (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, Cisco CCNA – preferred)

1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk or ISP support role

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)

Familiarity with routers, modems, firewalls, and wireless technologies

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks

Good problem-solving and diagnostic abilities

Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Zendesk)

Work Environment:

Office-based or remote (depending on company policy)

Shift work may be required to work night from 4:00 PM – 22:00 PM
