We’re NIVA Health, a U.S.-based healthcare company, and we’re looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst to join our remote team from South Africa.
What You’ll Be Doing
Extract and clean healthcare data from platforms like AthenaHealth, Google Sheets, and others
Build simple, clear dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio or Excel
Help ensure data accuracy and support internal teams with meaningful insights
Support data governance and privacy (HIPAA compliance—we’ll train you)
Collaborate with clinical, operations, and finance teams in the U.S.
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
Some experience working with EHR systems (AthenaHealth, Epic, or similar) is a big plus
Comfortable using SQL or advanced Excel/Google Sheets formulas
Strong attention to detail and a love for clean, trustworthy data
Excellent written and verbal communication—this is a remote role with a lot of collaboration
Bonus: Exposure to healthcare coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, etc.)
