Minimum Requirements
National Health and Safety Diploma(SAMTRAC or NEBOSH)
3 yearshealth and safety experience in an office environment
Computer literacy
, particularly MS Office Suite
In depth knowledgeof the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related legislation
Excellent organisational abilities
Excellent administrative skills
Systematic, comprehensiveand displaying excellentattention to detail
Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
Willingness to go the extra mile, which includes:
Working long and irregular hours
Weekends
Public holidays where necessary
Designing, implementing and managingeffective health andsafety protocols, and promoting these
Overseeing and managing health andsafety measuresand ensuring that risks are addressed atsenior managementlevel, where appropriate
