Headteacher – Islamic Nursery & Primary School (Grade R–Grade 8)
Location: Kampala Uganda Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Headteacher to lead our Islamic Nursery & Primary School, guiding both students and educators in a nurturing and academically rigorous environment. This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of curricula, and a commitment to maintaining high educational standards within an Islamic learning framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily academic and operational functions of the school.
Ensure Islamic values and teachings are embedded within all aspects of education.
Train, mentor, and support teachers to improve teaching methodologies and curriculum delivery.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies aligned with national and Islamic educational standards.
Monitor student progress and implement programs to enhance learning outcomes.
Foster a positive and disciplined school culture while maintaining high academic standards.
Ensure compliance with education policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master’s degree in Education (or related field).
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Headteacher, preferably in an Islamic school setting.
Ability to train and develop teaching staff effectively.
Strong understanding of Islamic educational principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in curriculum planning and implementation.
Speaking Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
