Head Waiter Jobs in Pretoria, Gauteng 0201 at Crew Life at Sea
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise and train a team of waiters and waitresses to provide exceptional service to our guests On Board Cruise Ship
– Monitor dining room operations and ensure that all guests are receiving timely and efficient service
– Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dining room and other food service areas
– Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner
– Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served according to guest preferences and dietary restrictions
– Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
– Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
– Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
– Continuously strive to improve and enhance the dining experience for our guests.
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Head Waiter or a similar supervisory role in a high-end restaurant or cruise ship
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Strong leadership and team management abilities
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
