Requirements
Requirements for this Head of Technology job in Johannesburg, South Africa
:
10+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or Head of Tech role.
Strong technical foundation in C#/.NET, Umbraco, .NET Core, WebAPI, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-level platforms at scale.
Deep understanding of software development best practices, cloud infrastructure, security, and modern Dev Ops practices.
Exceptional people leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and building collaborative, high-performing teams.
Hands-on experience with client/server and multi-tier architectures.
Experience with in the iGaming or fast-paced digital environments is highly advantageous.
A data-driven mindset with familiarity in BI and analytics integration.
Experience with automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
