Hire Resolve’s Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Finance & Compliance. This position is based in Johannesburg.
The Head of Finance & Compliance (HFC) is a professionally qualified and experienced mid-management role responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, and managing key support functions, including Finance, Risk and Compliance and some operational matters. The HFC plays a vital role in the effective and compliant functioning of the company.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Risk and Compliance
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Develop and implement robust internal controls and compliance programs
Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders
Mitigate financial risks and identify opportunities for improvement
Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance
Requirements
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CA (SA)
3-8 years of experience in an operational and finance role within the investment industry.
Proven experience in Finance, Risk and Compliance and IT
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Experience in compliance and risk management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
