We’re seeking a visionary Head of Data and Digital to shape the strategic direction of our global operations. This pivotal leader will design and implement a comprehensive digital and data strategy that drives innovation, enhances market presence, and future‑proofs our systems.
As the champion of digital, data, analytics, and AI capabilities, you’ll identify and implement emerging technologies that transform operations and unlock new opportunities. Your mission: align digital and data strategies with business objectives, accelerate digitization, and empower the organization to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Define, develop, and execute the enterprise Digital, AI, and Data & Analytics (D&A) strategy in alignment with global business objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and transformation roadmaps for enterprise-wide AI and D&A investments.
- Partner with senior leadership to translate business needs into effective Digital, AI, and D&A solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, continuous improvement, and security-by-design across the global IT organization.
Portfolio & Architecture Governance
- Establish and maintain the Group Digital, AI, and D&A portfolio strategy.
- Ensure portfolio alignment with business priorities and consistency across global operations.
- Identify and resolve architecture deviations throughout the Digital, AI, and D&A lifecycle.
Technology Evaluation & Adoption
- Lead the research, evaluation, and adoption of emerging Digital, AI, and D&A technologies.
- Track adoption rates, time-to-adopt, and business impact of new capabilities.
- Continuously scan global technology trends to leverage opportunities that advance business objectives.
Performance, Value & ROI Measurement
- Measure ROI, financial benefits, and value delivery of the Digital, AI, and D&A portfolio.
- Monitor time-to-market and performance against delivery expectations.
- Provide regular reports on initiatives, metrics, and portfolio progress.
Security, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all Digital, AI, and D&A solutions comply with security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Group Information Security Officer to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain strategies for data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a strategic liaison between business leaders, IT teams, and global stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate the value and benefits of Digital, AI, and D&A initiatives across the organization.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and coach Analysts, Specialists, and IT professionals enterprise-wide.
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver portfolio outcomes aligned with business imperatives.
- Promote professional growth, certification, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Drive employee engagement, satisfaction, productivity, and capability development.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification and / or a Master’s degree in any related field or MBA will be advantageous
- 10+ years’ experience with in-depth project management experience. Minimum 5 years as the Head of Digital and Data & Analytics
- Experience with major enterprise applications such as SAP ECC, Syspro, and SuccessFactors.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Power BI.
- Strong background in data modelling, ETL pipeline development, and data governance frameworks.
- Experience building queries in SAP BW using BEX, Analysis for Office (AFO), and Eclipse.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAC to create compelling insights.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and data manipulation skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
