Salary: R1,1mil – R1,2mil CTC per annum
We’re partnering with a high-growth, entrepreneurial property platform entering an exciting phase of scaled expansion across multiple developments and income-generating assets.
This is a high-impact leadership role, working closely with the founder, where you will take full ownership of capital strategy, funding execution, and treasury management across a complex SPV structure.
The Role
You will lead all aspects of capital markets and treasury, including:
- Structuring and executing debt funding and refinancing strategies
- Designing optimal capital structures at both project and portfolio level
- Managing relationships with banks, debt funds, and alternative lenders
- Overseeing liquidity, cash flow planning, and covenant compliance
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
Key Focus Areas
Capital Structuring & Funding
- Develop funding strategies aligned to development cycles and exit profiles
- Structure senior debt, mezzanine, and other funding solutions
- Drive refinancing initiatives to unlock and recycle capital
Capital Raising & Lender Management
- Build and manage lender relationships across the market
- Run competitive funding processes to secure optimal terms
- Lead negotiations across pricing, covenants, and security structures
Treasury & Liquidity
- Manage cash and liquidity across multiple SPVs
- Oversee debt servicing, covenant tracking, and risk management
- Optimize capital allocation between internal and external funding
Portfolio Strategy
- Support capital allocation and growth planning across projects
- Stress-test funding strategies against market conditions
- Contribute to overall capital recycling and scaling strategy
Execution
- Lead end-to-end transaction execution (debt raises, refinances, restructures)
- Coordinate with legal advisors, lenders, and internal stakeholders
About You
- 8–15+ years’ experience in investment banking, structured finance, or real estate finance
- Strong track record in raising and structuring debt and negotiating with lenders
- Deep understanding of property finance and SPV structures
- Strong financial modelling and commercial acumen
- Able to operate effectively in a founder-led, high-growth environment
