Role Overview:
Lead a high-performing team to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities across Standard Corporate Investment Banking. You will be responsible for formulating sector strategies, managing a diverse portfolio of trade solutions (FinTech, STCF, Supply Chain Finance), and acting as a senior advisor to Corporate Investment Banking clients across multiple industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Set and drive delivery against Trade headline earnings and revenue targets; oversee sector strategy and market positioning.
- Portfolio Management: Directly manage complex client relationships and provide strategic oversight on deal execution and structured solutions.
- Risk & Governance: Act as the first line of defense; partner with Credit and BS&R to manage NPLs and align with risk/regulatory frameworks.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a professional team, overseeing pipeline management, work quality, and personal development.
- Collaboration & Origination: Partner with Transaction Banking, Product Management, and Distribution teams to commercialize new digital solutions and maximize cross-sell opportunities.
- Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of macroeconomic trends and represent the bank at industry conferences to enhance market-leading capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Trade Finance & Transaction Banking (CIB environment).
- Deep expertise in Commodity ecosystems, structured trade, and self-liquidating solutions.
- Strong track record in team leadership and senior stakeholder management.
- Ability to structure complex deals across multiple jurisdictions and industries.
