About The Role
DBSA is recruiting a Head of Credit Origination to lead the assessment and structuring of complex credit transactions across infrastructure, sovereign, sub-sovereign and public-sector investments in South Africa and the rest of Africa. The postholder will lead credit due diligence, financial modelling, risk mitigation, committee submissions, policy governance and a specialist credit-origination team.
Key responsibilities
Lead credit origination, assessment and transaction structuring.
Oversee due diligence, financial modelling and risk-mitigation strategies.
Lead the credit-origination unit and present recommendations to investment committees.
Key requirements
Postgraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, credit or risk management, or related field.
At least 12 years of relevant credit-risk, portfolio-monitoring or financial-analysis experience.
At least five years of senior credit-risk leadership experience.
