Harvest Scale Operator Jobs in Worthington, IN at Harba Solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Scale and direct incoming trucks carrying green corn, soybeans, cobs, and discard
- Print, verify, and maintain scale tickets and seed load documents
- Accurately enter data into Excel spreadsheets and Global Seed systems (Seed Pro, SharePoint)
- Answer and direct incoming calls and greet visitors, providing necessary PPE
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Administrative or data entry experience preferred
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service mindset with attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and transportation to the worksite
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Repetitive motion, including computer keyboard operation
- Ability to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Equipment / Attire:
- Over-the-ankle steel-toe or composite boots
- Long pants (slacks or jeans)
- Shirt with sleeves covering shoulders
Additional Information:
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
- Transportation to/from the worksite is the responsibility of the employee
- Must comply with site policies including seatbelt, electronic device, and smoke-free workplace regulations
