Job Purpose:

The Growth Manager is responsible for translating distribution strategy into execution across advice-led channels in the Tied Advisory face-to-face and telephony environments. The role drives growth, operational efficiency, and commercial outcomes across supported channels, partnering closely with Channel Managers, Business Development Managers, Product Houses, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance. The role combines strategic business enablement, growth execution, and operational oversight to ensure distribution models operate efficiently, profitably, compliantly, and in alignment with strategic objectives

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Execution & Growth Management

  • Translate business and distribution strategies into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
  • Identify growth opportunities using data, performance trends, and market insights
  • Align KPIs, initiatives, and campaigns with channel and product strategies
  • Track and report on API, AUM, productivity, and profitability metrics
  • Business & Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operational effectiveness of supported advice models
  • Improve cost efficiency, productivity, and process effectiveness
  • Prepare management reports and executive presentations
  • Sales Enablement & Channel Support

  • Support Channel Managers and BDMs in achieving sales outcomes
  • Ensure consistent campaign execution across channels
  • Design, implement and lead the operational framework for a financial advice call centre
  • Manage sales content, tools, and enablement materials
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities clearly
  • Compliance, Governance & Risk

  • Ensure compliance with FAIS, FSCA, and internal governance requirements
  • Support audit readiness and risk mitigation initiatives
  • You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Preferred:
    Degree or Honours in Business, Commerce, Management, Engineering, or Financial Planning
  • FAIS-recognized qualification required where applicable
  • RE1 / RE5 required where Key Individual responsibilities apply
