The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Group Operations Manager to lead and optimize operations across our network of facilities. This role is ideal for someone eager to take on a leadership challenge with significant growth potential. You will work closely with the executive team to enhance operational efficiency, maintain high standards of care, and support the strategic expansion of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
Oversee day-to-day operations across all La Vie facilities, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality care delivery.
Implement best practices, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and excellence across the group.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure facilities comply with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including the Older Persons Act.
Monitor and enforce care standards to meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
Leadership and Team Development:
Inspire, mentor, and develop facility managers and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and professionalism.
Identify opportunities for staff training and professional growth.
Financial Management:
Drive cost-efficiency and resource optimization to ensure financial performance while maintaining quality.
Work closely with the head of finance to manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting for all facilities.
Strategic Planning and Growth:
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with La Vie’s long-term vision.
Support the expansion of services, including the establishment of new facilities or service lines.
Stakeholder and Community Engagement:
Build strong relationships with families, healthcare providers, and local communities to enhance La Vie’s reputation.
Act as a key representative for La Vie Care in strategic partnerships and outreach initiatives.
Crisis and Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure continuity and reliability of services.
Lead the response to critical issues affecting residents, staff, or operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in operations management, with 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing multi-site operations, preferably in healthcare, long-term care, or hospitality.
Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting and resource optimization.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: R40Â 000,00 – R70Â 000,00 per month
