An established company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Group Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, preparing financial statements, and handling intercompany loan accounts and transactions between the group of companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining precise financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations Overseeing accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payments Preparing and analysing financial statements to support decision-making Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and submitting necessary returns Supporting the accounting team with daily operations and
leadership
Handling intercompany loan accounts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring proper recording of transactions Coordinating audits and assisting with other financial reporting duties Requirements: A Degree in Accounting or Finance Completion of articles (SAICA or SAIPA) is an advantage 10 years of experience in accounting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Fluency in both Afrikaans and English Why Join the Team?
