Grounds Crew Lead

Essential Functions Facility Maintenance:

· Ability to work various hours with weekend and holidays required

· Collaborate with the foreman on the maintenance, cleanliness, and repair of the facility; including

the driving range, golf suites, building structure, and minor landscaping

· Participate in a proactive maintenance program to address issues before they become critical

· Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and to the highest standards

· All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Team Leadership:

· Assist in training and supervising the grounds crew

· Assign tasks and monitor team performance

· Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and mentorship among the team

Grounds Management:

· Collaborate with the foreman maintaining the facilities landscaping and outdoor areas

· Lead the landscaping activites, snow removal, and the upkeep of the outdoor amenities

· Implement measures to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the facility

Equipment and Inventory:

· Monitor and manage equipment and supply inventory

· Procure necessary supplies and materials for maintenance tasks

Safety and Compliance:

· Ensure the facility complies with all safety regulations and standards

· Conduct routine safety inspections and assessments

Budget Management:

· Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and help track expenses

· Collaborate with the foreman and management to ensure maintenance activities align with budgetary constraints

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in facility maintenance and leadership

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance

Physical Demands:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear.

· Long hours standing, walking, and going up and down stairs

· Using hand tools, heavy equipment, and cleaning products

· Lift up to 50 lbs
