Grinding Opportunity – Direct Hire from Day One $25/hour Jobs in Woonsocket, RI at Personnel People
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities
- Deburring, grinding and polishing
- Remove burrs, rough edges, and ridges from metal-cut parts
- Follow written and verbal instructions and complete assigned work orders
- Remove imperfections including gouges and scratches from finished parts
- Operate equipment such as:
- Tumblers
- Table-mounted grinders
- Sanders
- Hand grinders
- Deburring tools
- Semi-automatic polishers/grinders
- Work with different material such as aluminum and stainless-steel
- Clean and degrease parts using tumbling machines, solvents, and high-pressure air equipment
Qualifications
- Previous grinding and deburring experience required
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test including marijuana
Hours are:
Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $25.00 an hour based on experience
