Role Purpose
Metropolitan is seeking a highly proficient and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our Learning and Design team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to apply their design expertise in a professional setting while developing engaging learning assets. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the creation of innovative visual content that supports our corporate training and development initiatives, ensuring our learning materials are both impactful and aligned with our brand identity.
Requirements
A relevant B degree in Graphic Design, Art, Illustration, or a related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint
Familiarity with digital ideation and infographic creation
Proficiency in motion graphics and video production, including experience with video editing tools
An awareness of e-learning design platforms is an advantage
A keen eye for detail, excellent organisational and time management skills, and strong written communication
Applicants must share a portfolio of evidence of their design work. If a formal portfolio is not available, please provide equivalent samples or documentation demonstrating your creative capabilities
Duties & Responsibilities
Conceptualise and develop creative briefs in line with our Corporate Identity
Design and produce a variety of learning assets, including learner guides, slide decks, learning journeys, video materials, and engaging motion graphics
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure designs meet quality standards and support learning objectives
Produce and edit motion graphics and video content to enhance our learning materials
Maintain an organised archive of creative assets and project documentation
