Role Description

As Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for leading the design and execution of primary and secondary packaging, while also contributing to broader brand and campaign design. You’ll work closely with brand, product, and marketing teams to ensure that Silki’s packaging is not only beautiful, but functional, compliant, and unmistakably on-brand.

You won’t just design packaging, you’ll help define and evolve Silki’s visual language.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Packaging Design & Development

  • Designing and refining primary packaging (labels, tubes, bottles, etc.)
  • Designing secondary packaging (boxes, sleeves, inserts)
  • Preparing artwork for print with a strong understanding of Dielines, Print finishes, Colour management, Regulatory and compliance considerations
  • Working closely with suppliers, printers, and manufacturers to ensure design intent is executed accurately

Brand & Campaign Design

Supporting campaign and launch design across:

  • Digital
  • In-store
  • Print
  • Ensuring consistency across all visual touchpoints
  • Evolving brand assets, templates, and guidelines as the brand grows

Creative Leadership

  • Acting as a senior design voice within the team
  • Mentoring or guiding junior designer (where applicable)
  • Providing clear creative direction and feedback
  • Upholding high design standards across all outputs

3D & Visualisation

Creating 3D mock-ups and renders for:

  • Packaging development
  • Internal reviews
  • Campaigns and marketing assets

AI & Design Innovation

Using AI-assisted design tools to:

  • Explore concepts and visual directions
  • Support ideation and iteration
  • Enhance efficiency without compromising quality
  • Staying up to date with emerging tools and technologies relevant to design and packaging

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
  • At least 3–5 years’ experience working specifically on packaging design
  • Demonstrated experience creating 3D mock-ups or renders for packaging or products
  • Experience managing multiple design projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working to tight timelines and shifting priorities
  • Comfort using AI tools as part of the creative process
  • A portfolio that clearly demonstrates:
  • Packaging systems
  • Print-ready artwork
  • Real-world production experience
  • 3D or visualisation work (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and brand systems
  • Experience working within regulated categories (beauty, skincare, FMCG advantageous)
  • Detail-oriented, production-savvy, and highly organised
