Full Job Description
Our well known multi-faceted client, encompassing both retail and manufacturing entities in Stikland, has an opportunity for a Jnr Graphic Designer. you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept to completion. You will work closely with the marketing, product, and development teams to create visually compelling and effective designs that align with the brand and business goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for packaging, illustrative design, photography, sales support and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Conceptualize, design, and produce various marketing materials, including digital and print assets such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, banners, advertisements, and more.
Develop creative and compelling visuals that effectively communicate our brand identity, values, and messages
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives, ensuring designs align with the overall marketing strategy
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to our design process
Ensure consistency in visual branding across different platforms, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
Develops brand image through excellent quality packaging and print designs with high visual impact
Prepares artwork for customers
Maintain the social media schedule
Assist in conceptualising and executing external marketing material
Maintain the user-friendliness of the website through analysis and testing of web components
Qualifications:
Matric
Degree / Diploma Graphic Design / Visual Arts
A portfolio showcasing strong creative concepts and solid experience within a variety of industries
Computer Literate: Adobe – Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D Software Dimensions
Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work
Skills:
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity and innovation
