Meethi Zindagi is a Pakistan-based nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes across Pakistan through education, peer support, and advocacy. As we grow, we are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to help secure the funding that powers our programs and expands our impact.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer with a minimum of 3 years of proven success in securing funding from both government and non-government sources. The ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing, and organizational skills to manage the full lifecycle of grant applications — from identifying opportunities to reporting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Research grant opportunities from government agencies, international donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
Draft compelling grant proposals and supporting documents tailored to the funding requirements of Meethi Zindagi.
Submit draft proposals to grant coordinators and leadership for review and approval.
Respond to internal and external queries regarding drafted and submitted proposals in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain organized records of proposals, deadlines, and reporting schedules.
Submit progress reports and updates related to ongoing grant opportunities and awarded funds.
Collaborate with program teams to gather relevant data and success stories to strengthen proposals.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in grant writing preferably with a non-profit organization, fundraising, or a related role.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with nonprofit operations and donor reporting requirements.
Salary: Basic + Commission Per Secured Grant
