Full Job Description
Senwes Grainlink is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Grain Marketer to develop and implement effective market access strategies, engage with producers, and ensure seamless contract execution and administration.
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities and risks based on individual producers’ portfolios and market indicators.
Engage with producers to discuss portfolio performance and recommend relevant market access solutions.
Discuss strategy, contract types, and pricing with producers; verify prices with traders and issue quotations.
Organize and facilitate information sessions between producers and the marketing group.
Utilize market information to refine and adjust regional market access strategies.
Relevant B-qualification.
At least 2 years of experience in Agriculture, Grain Marketing, or Economics.
Basic knowledge of global and local agri-financials and economics.
Ability to perform cost calculations, breakeven calculations, and profit calculations for grain production.
